Danger! The alarm has been sounded! The American Church is under
attack! The Body of Christ has been fallen under a horrible
epidemic where believers in God no longer believe in God!
People, believe it or not, we now have Churches full of people
who are living like practical atheists. Oh, we say we believe in
God, but most of the time we act like He's not there. How? By
our lips and by our lives. And this is not only detrimental in
our walk with God, it keeps others from believing in God.
Therefore, to avoid this irony of Christian's living like a
practical atheists, this series, The Power of God, reveals that
we know that God is Powerful by His Display of Creation,
Demonstration of Miracles, Destroying the Works of satan, and by
His Defeating of Death. Then we see what God's Power is like in
that There's Nothing He Cannot Do and There's nothing that Can
Intimidate Him. And finally, we see What God's Power Can Do for
You. People this is the awesome message we have the privilege to
tell to the nations, God not only exists, but through Jesus
Christ, people really can have an intimate personal relationship
with the Creator of the universe! But I'm telling you, if the
world is ever going to believe our message, then you and I must
stop acting like practical atheists and start demonstrating by
our lips as well as our lives that God is Powerful. |
